- April - Child Abuse Prevention Month
The month of April is observed as a time to reflect on what we are doing as responsible community members to prevent child abuse and neglect. Prevent Child Abuse Wisconsin, the Child Abuse Prevention Fund and the Children’s Trust Fund, Prevent Child Abuse have created a number of useful resources to help you create greater awareness in your community around the need to prevent child abuse and neglect.
- SARIS Spoke Out Ride and Walk to Keep Kids Safe
Ride up to 12 miles around Lake Monona, ride 30 miles, or walk 2.5 miles along the lake to Monona Terrace and back to Olin Park.
