Together for Children Conference
Prevent Child Abuse Wisconsin coordinates an annual statewide child abuse and neglect conference each Spring. The conference targets professionals that work in the fields of child abuse prevention and intervention.

 

 

Suspected Child Abuse and Neglect Mandatory Reporter Training (SCAN-MRT)

This training is intended for teachers, social workers, all public school employees, principals, law enforcement officers, daycare providers, foster parents, medical and mental health professionals and many others who work with children.  The SCAN-MRT training is designed to teach mandated reporters how to recognize and respond to suspected child maltreatment.  SCAN-MRT training is the only training approved by the Wisconsin Department of Children and Families.
