Prevent Child Abuse Wisconsin is looking forward to another successful year at the 24th annual Together for Children Conference being held on April 12-13, 2011 at the Marriot Madison West in Madison, WI. Prevent Child Abuse Wisconsin is seeking proposals for conference sessions at the 24th annual Together for Children Conference on Child Abuse and Neglect. The conference is geared toward professionals whose work involves some aspect of child abuse and neglect, including prevention, intervention, treatment, investigation, and prosecution. Workshops and training institutes will address hot topic issues and evidenced based practices and programs. Presentations might include topics such as: prevention strategies, innovative intervention and treatment strategies, best practice and research initiatives, current legal issues in the area of child maltreatment, or other innovative ideas. Sessions are 90 minutes in length for conference workshops and 3 hours for standout sessions.
